Today we are making Off Hours public. This is a short post about what it is, why it exists, and who it is for.
What it is
Off Hours is an Amazon Ads scheduling and automation tool. Four rule types:
- Dayparting. Schedule campaigns to run and pause hour by hour, day by day. Run when customers buy. Pause the rest of the time.
- Budget rules. Adjust daily budgets up or down on a recurring schedule. Weekend boosts, seasonal pullbacks, any cadence.
- Event rules. Handle Prime Day, Black Friday, product launches. Date-range overrides that restore everything cleanly when the event is over.
- Performance rules. React to prior-day signal with alerts or actions when ACOS or budget thresholds are crossed.
That is the whole product. No keyword research. No bid management AI taking over your account. No percentage of your ad spend.
What it does, it does well. What it does not do, we do not do.
Why it exists
I run an Amazon advertising agency. About a year ago I audited what we were paying for in software and realized that the feature my team used every single day (dayparting) was a thing we had built ourselves inside our internal dashboard, because nobody was selling it as a standalone product. Every tool on the market bundled dayparting with six other things we did not need, at a price that only made sense if we needed all seven.
So I spun the tool out. That is Off Hours.
The longer version of this story, including the part where I explain why the bundled Amazon ad tool market is structurally overpriced for what most sellers actually need, is in the other post we published today: Why We Built Off Hours →
Who it is for
Off Hours is built for people who already have an Amazon PPC strategy and need the execution layer to stop getting in the way.
That includes:
- Agencies managing multiple brand accounts
- In-house media buyers at brands spending $5,000 to $500,000 per month on ads
- Operators who know what their dayparting schedule should be but have been doing it manually or not at all
It is not built for:
- Single-ASIN FBA operators with small budgets (you do not need this yet)
- Enterprise programs with custom attribution modeling and data science teams (you need more than we sell)
- Anyone looking for an AI that will take over their account (we are the opposite)
If you are somewhere in the middle, this is for you.
What launching means today
Starting today, Off Hours is publicly available at off-hours.app.
- 14-day free trial. No credit card.
- After the trial, $149 per month per Amazon Ads account. Flat. Billed monthly. Cancel anytime.
What is live today
- Dayparting, budget rules, event rules, and performance rules. All four rule types are live.
- The AI rule builder. Describe a rule in plain English, get it configured, confirm and deploy.
- Multi-account support for agencies
- Role-based team access
- Weekly performance insights emailed each Monday
- Activity log and change log showing every automated action the system has taken
- Dashboard with health overview across every connected account
What is not in the first version
We are shipping narrow on purpose. A few things that are coming but are not in the launch release:
- Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display support (we launch with Sponsored Products only)
- Stripe checkout and self-serve billing flow (we are processing the first round of subscriptions manually while the billing integration ships)
- Deeper reporting dashboards
- Custom rule types beyond the current four
- Tighter agency billing and white-label controls
Everything on this list is coming. None of it is blocking the launch.
Day one. You're early.
14 days free. No credit card. Five minutes from signup to your first rule running.

A few commitments I want on the record.
Pricing stays flat. We will not charge a percentage of ad spend.
Strategy stays yours. We will not build AI bid management that takes over your account. The AI we use is scoped to the rule builder and similar judgment-assistance features. It will never move a bid or pause a campaign that you did not ask it to.
Surface area stays narrow. We will not become a suite. More rule types, better edge cases, cleaner agency tooling, yes. A keyword research tool, a listing optimizer, or a product tracker, no.
Support is first-person. I read the support queue. If you email us, the response is from a human who works on the product.
Who we are
Off Hours was built inside TCN Group, my Amazon advertising agency. The team that ships the product is small and has been running Amazon ads for a living for years. We are not former PPC tool employees who built a tool to compete with our previous employer. We are media buyers who built the tool we wanted to use.
There will be more team posts and more of the behind-the-scenes as we grow.
How to try it
The 14-day trial is at off-hours.app. It takes about five minutes from signup to having your first rule running. No credit card required, no sales calls, no implementation work.
If you try it and something does not click, email me directly at hello@off-hours.app. I read every message.
Thanks for being here on day one.
